Today, it started! It really properly started. It was our first day on the cold, unforgiving streets of Milton Keynes filming Legion X. First days have a knack for being tricky and this one was no different. Everyone's acting as characters they've never been before, this time we were working with equipment only a few of us had used before (and not on something this big), and the camera battery helpfully decided to die on us before we could get everything we wanted filmed today! Oh joy!
But we soldiered on! We became superheroes, we filmed fight scenes, we filmed conversations and an awkward silence that left us all laughing. I put together a first rough edit of some of today's footage and I have got to say... I'm immensely proud of what we managed. This is going to be our toughest project yet, but I can't wait to see the outcome.
Now, I should head to bed - early tomorrow morning, I've got to do it all again! I shall leave you with a collection of pictures from our first day of shooting. Big thanks to Kate for taking these!
